Chart of the Day: Scholarships Mostly Going to White Kids

This chart comes via Colorlines, which reports on a FinAid.org study [PDF] that breaks down scholarships by race. This is likely because among scholarships, there is a huge emphasis on merit-based scholarships. And both the report and Colorlines speculate that this might be because scholarship committees are overcorrecting for the idea that there are a plethora of scholarships for various minorities.
